Obituary of Bobby Eugene Whitt

Bobby Eugene "Gene" Whitt, age 75 of Lawrenceville, GA, died Friday, December 11, 2009 following an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Dr. Donald Richards will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 3-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Whitt was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Whitt. Surviving are Wife, Barbara Whitt, Lawrenceville. Son, Kenneth Eugene Whitt, Duluth. Son and Daughter In-law, Van and Tracy Whitt, Braselton. Grandchildren, Amanda Whitt, Richard Whitt, Robert Whitt, Alexander Whitt, Lauren Whitt and Tiffany Whitt. Sister and Brother In-law, Catherine and Dr. Donald Richards, Loganville. Brother and Sister In-law, Wilburn and Cheray Whitt, Cumming; Sister and Brother In-law, Wanda and Jackie Conner, Marietta; Sister, Martha Stancil, Kennesaw. Mr. Whitt was a native of Gainesville, GA and a life long resident of the Atlanta area. He was retired from Rich Printing as a press operator and a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Loganville.
