Alexander S. "Alex" Collins, age 15 of Lawrenceville, GA died suddenly on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Chaplin John Hyatt will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. The Family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Boy Scout Troop #54, PO Box 490718, Lawrenceville, GA 30049-0012.
Alex is survived by his parents, Shawn and Laura Collins, Lawrenceville. Sister, Erin Collins, Lawrenceville. Grandparents, C.L. and Linda Collins, Dallas, GA, Ilene Ott, Dallas, GA and G.H. Ott, Rainsville, AL. Great Grandmother, Martha Mae Lamanac, Dallas, GA. Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Alex was a lifelong resident of Gwinnett County. He was a Sophomore at Collins Hill High School and a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop # 54 in Lawrenceville, GA.
