Dr. Judith R. "Judy" McDonough, age 67 of Dacula, GA died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 after a brief illness. A Memorial service will be held Friday, October, 9, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church. Dr. Dave Davis will officiate. The Family will receive friends after the service at the church. The Family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to United Way in Gwinnett, memo Judy McDonough, 2763 Meadow Church Rd., Suite 210 Duluth, GA 30097.
Judy is survived by her husband, Jim McDonough, Dacula, GA; Daughter and Son In-law, Michelle and Michael Knight, Lawrenceville, GA; Sons and Daughters In-law, Pat and Jeanne McDonough, Dacula, GA, Scott McDonough and Maureen Kelly, New York; Grandchildren, Dylan Knight, Emma Knight, Jackson McDonough, Belle McDonough, Julia McDonough, Sullivan McDonough, Finn McDonough.
Mrs. McDonough was born in Scranton, PA and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 5 years. She was a professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, was a published author, and a member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church, Dacula, GA.
