Miss Melody Sue McFarland, age 37, of Greensboro, Georgia, died Monday, December 24, 2001, after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Friday, December 28, 2001, at2:00 P. M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Charles Gilliland officiated. Interment followed in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family received friends on Thursday from 1:00-3:00 and 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Miss McFarland was preceded in death by her father, Mac McFarland and sister, Denise Mabrey. Surviving are Mother, Betty McFarland, Greensboro; Niece, Adrian Adams, Athens; Great Nieces and Nephews, Christian, Amber and B.J. Adams, Melissa, Andrea, Mikeala Bingham, Athens;Uncle, Benny Tucker, Washington, GA; Aunts, Beatrice West, Greensboro, Dorothy Ammons,Flowery Branch, Elizabeth Smith, Ruth McFarland, Deltone, FL. Several Cousins. Miss McFarland lived most of her life in Flowery Branch and lived in Greensboro the past 3 years. She was previously employed by PMI in Hoschton, GA.
