Obituary of Wayne Robinson

Wayne Robinson, age 71 of Buford, GA died Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Earl Pirkle will officiate. Interment will follow in Oconee Memorial Park, Seneca, SC. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 21, 2009 from 6-9 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Muriel Robinson, Buford, GA. Son, Dwight Robinson, Micanopy, FL. Son and Daughter In-law, Marty and Mechelle Robinson, Braselton, GA. Grandchildren, Isaac Robinson and Jenna Robinson. Sister, Ruby Buckner, NC. Sisters and Brothers In-law, Robie and Herschel Ramsey, NC and Gladys and Kenneth Banks, NC. Brother In-law, Max Lassiter, NC. Mr. Robinson was a native of Buncombe County, NC and had lived in the metro Atlanta area for the past 30 years. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from the General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville. He was a member of Retreat Baptist Church in NC.
