Obituary of Edward F. McCarthy

Edward F. McCarthy, age 56 of Dacula, Georgia died Thursday, July 9, 2009 after a brief illness. A Memorial service will be held Monday, July 13, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Mr. Mike Berardo will officiate. The Family will receive friends Monday, July 13, 2009 immediately following the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of your choice. Mr. McCarthy is survived by his wife Katharine McCarthy, Dacula, GA; Daughter and Fiancé, Carol Gibbs and Mike Burgess, Oceanside, CA; Mother, Mary McCarthy, Dacula, GA; Nieces and Cousins. Mr. McCarthy was born in Hartford, CT and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 22 years where he served as a National Correspondent with CNN Radio.
