Tommie Etheridge Leachman, age 77, of Buford , Georgia passed away Thursday, March 12, 2009. She was preceded in death by: Husbands: D.C. Leachman and A. R. "Babe" Etheridge, and Mother, Jurell Hamilton Davis. Tommie was a life-long resident of the Buford area and a member of the First Baptist Church , Buford.
She is survived by: Daughter, Patty Brown, Hoschton, Daughter and Son-in-law Peggy and Joe Reed, Gainesville, Grandson Alex J. Brown, Buford, Brother and Sister-in-law Bill and Vicki Davis, Canton; Bobby and Barbara Davis, Buford; Ron and Crissie Brooks, Buford; Sisters-in-law: Carolyn Bagley, Hurtsboro, Alabama; and Nettie Ruth Robinson, Roswell.
The family received friends from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Funeral services were Sunday, March 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Burial was at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society/ Glioblastoma Multiform Brain Tumor Research.
