Mrs. Eva "Buckle" Davis Orrick, age 83, of Buford, died Saturday, September 29, 2001 after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Monday, October 1, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Morris Hansard officiated. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery in Winder. The family received friends on Saturday, September 29 from 7 :00 to 9:00 PM and Sunday after 12 Noon. Mrs. Orrick was preceded in death by grandson, James Doyle Oliver. Surviving are: Daughter; Barbara S. Oliver, Griffin, 3 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild. Sister and Brother In-law, Grace and Flap Higgins, Buford, Brother and Sister In-law, Jim and Faye Davis, MI, Brother, Huland Davis, Buford. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mrs. Orrick was a life long resident of Buford and was of the Baptist Faith.
