Mrs. Karen L Walimaa, beloved wife, daughter, mother and grandmother age 56, of Hoschton, Georgia, died Friday September 19, 2008 after a brief illness. Funeral service was held Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Beau Farr officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The family received friends on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 1- 4 PM at the funeral home.
Karen is survived by her husband, James T. Walimaa, Hoschton, GA; Sons and Daughters in-law, Michael S. and Brenda Kipfmiller, Lula, GA, Jason T. and Lynsey Walimaa, Lawrenceville, GA. Grandchildren, Jessica L. Kipfmiller, Charles S. Kipfmiller and Jaden T. Walimaa; Father, Joseph P. Vajda, Standish, MI. Sisters, Beth A. Smith, Citra, FL, Debbie A. Vajda, Linwood, MI, Barbara Kerridge, Boyne City, MI and Rose Entriken, Boyne City, MI.
Karen was born in Bay City, MI and lived in metro Atlanta for the past 23 years. She was known for the love and care she gave to her family and friends.
