Ramon Montijo, Sr., age 84 Buford, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Funeral Service was held Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Joshua Rivera officiated. Interment followed Friday, August 8, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family received friends on Thursday, August 7, 2008 immediately after the service. Ramon is survived by his wife Gloria Montijo, Buford; Children, Ramon Montijo, Jr., FL, Nancy Cardona, FL, Gloria Ortega, FL, Nilsa Montijo-Roy, MA, Elsie Montijo, NH, Millie Montijo, Buford, Sonia Montijo-Bonilla, Buford, Raul Montijo, MA, Martha Montijo, CA, Nydia Montijo, CA; 19 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Montijo was a native of Puerto Rico and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 1 ½ years. He was an Electrical Technician in the Defense Industry and a member of the Assembly of God Church, Flowery Branch.
