Ogle V. Faglier, age 86 of Buford, GA died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 after an extended illness. Funeral Service were held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Buford. Rev. Brian Faglier and Rev. Wayne Johnson officiated. Interment followed in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family received friends on Friday, June 6, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Buford Building Fund, 4550 Hamilton Mill Rd., Buford, GA 30518. Mrs. Faglier was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Rev. Ira B. Faglier. She is survived by her Son, Keith B. Faglier, Marietta, GA; Sons and Daughters In-law, Milton E. and Pat Faglier, Stockbridge, GA and L. Wayne and Margie Faglier, Athens, GA; Daughter and Son In-law, Marsha and Todd Mathews, Sugar Hill, GA; 7 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; Brother In-law and Sister In-law, Claude and Mary Francis Faglier, Augusta, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mrs. Faglier was born in Avera, Georgia and lived the past 45 years in Buford, Georgia. Prior to moving to Buford in 1963 Mrs. Faglier along with her husband Rev. Ira B. Faglier served churches in Nashville, GA, Ashburn, GA, Dearing, GA, Leslie, GA and Americus, GA. Mrs. Faglier was a member of First Baptist Church, Buford where she served as a member of the WMU, a member of the Silvertone Choir and she ministered in many other capacities over her 45 years of service. She was employed with Reed's Childcare in Buford for several years where she taught 4 and 5 year olds. Her sweet spirit and servant heart were a blessing to many.
