Robert Edmund Irvin, Jr., "Buck", age 63 of Duluth, Georgia, died suddenly Saturday, March 8, 2008. A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 5:00 PM at First Baptist Church Duluth. Dr. Dave Parker officiated. The Family received friends on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 immediately after the service at the church. A Private Interment Service was held Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. Dr. Jerrell Pritchett officiated. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of "Buck Irvin" to Special Needs Program, Lanier Middle School or to the Developmental Disabilities Ministry, First Baptist Church, Duluth, GA. Mr. Irvin is survived by his wife, Gail Irvin, Duluth; Daughter, Sara-Frances Irvin, Duluth; Son, Steven Paul Irvin, Duluth; Mother and Father, Floy Perkins Irvin and Robert E. Irvin, Sr., Osteen, FL; Sister and Brother In-law, Debbie and Peter Bogdan, Dickson, TN; Sister, Patrice Riggall, Orlando, FL; Nephews, Matthew Bogdan and Andrew Bogdan, Murfreesboro, TN, Patrick Austin, Sanford, FL; Niece, Olivia Bogdan, Memphis, TN, Deana Suttle, Cumming; 3 Great Nephews and 1 Great Niece; Mother In-law, Bertha Eubanks, Buford; Sister In-law and Brother In-law, Jyl and Jon Johnson, Duluth; Brother In-law, Steve Eubanks, Buford; Nieces, Jana Phelan, Naples, FL, Jamy Johnson, Duluth; Great Niece Abigail Grace Phelan. Mr. Irvin was born in Washington, D.C. and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past nine years. He was a teacher in the Gwinnett County Public School System and a member of First Baptist Church Duluth where he also served as Recreational Director.
