Florence H. Roney, age 85 of Dacula, Georgia, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 after an extended illness. Funeral Service will be Friday, March 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Robert Truelove officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family received friends Thursday, March 6, 2008 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Roney is survived by her husband, Edwin Roney, Dacula; son and Daughter In-law, David and Romelia Roney, Cherry Log; Daughters and Sons In-law, Elaine and Terry Buck, Raleigh, NC, Cyndi and Tom VanderVen, Dacula; 9 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; Brothers In-law and Sisters In-law, Earl and Agnes Roney, Wilbur and Sue Roney, James Ray and Ethel Roney; Brother In-law, Bobby Roney; Sister In-law and Brother In-law, Sarah and Nick McBrayer. Mrs. Roney was born in Manchester, KY and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 6 years. She was a home maker and a member of Christ Reformed Church.
