Marion S. Derkis, age 85 of Buford, Georgia, formerly of Irwin, PA, died Thursday, February 14, 2008 after a brief illness. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Shirley-Kukich Funeral Home, North Huntingdon, PA. Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg, PA. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mrs. Derkis was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Derkis. She is survived by her daughter Daryl Ann Pregrad, Buford, GA, formerly Irwin, PA; Son In-law, David Pregrad, Buford, GA, formerly Jeannette, PA; Niece, Susan Kunig, Pittsburgh, PA.
Mrs. Derkis was born in Ellicottville, New York and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 8 years. She was a home maker and of the Presbyterian Faith.
