Obituary of Ward D. Worley

Ward D. Worley, age 81 of Lawrenceville, Georgia, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Funeral Service was held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. David Douglas and Rev. Larry Ralston officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family received friends on Friday, February 15, 2008 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Worley is survived by his wife Christine Worley, Lawrenceville; Children, Linda and David Harrison, OK, Robert Worley, SC, Joan and David Douglas, Cumming; Randall and Colleen Worley, MI, Barbara and Randal Adams, Bethlehem; 13 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; Brother and Sister In-law, Ted and Roelly Worley, CA; Sister In-law and Brother In-law, Hazel and Curly Ralston, CO; Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mr. Worley was born in Detroit, Michigan and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 29 years. He was a WWII Veteran of the US Marine Corps where he served in the Pacific Theater, a retired electrical engineer consultant and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Lawrenceville.
