Obituary of Nora C. McHargue

Nora C. McHargue, age 70 of Dacula, Georgia, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 after a brief illness. Funeral Service was held Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Mac Palmer officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family received friends on Saturday, February 2, 2008 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. McHargue is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sharon Leonard; Brother, Tobby Belcher and Sister, Sue Ann Nicholson. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Loyd McHargue, Dacula; Children, Lester and Elizabeth McHargue, Flowery Branch, Rosemary and James Sipin, Lawrenceville; Grandchildren, Kathy and David Keisler, James and Laura Leonard, Brian Leonard, Jennifer Sipin, Christopher McHargue, Caitlin McHargue, Tiffany Sipin; Great Grandchildren, Michael, Alicia, Erin, Kahlan; Brothers and Sisters, Thurman Belcher, Mt. Rest, SC, J.R. Nicholson, West Union, SC, Maxine Debros, Naperville, IL, Myra Ketterman, Mt.Rest, SC, L.D. Belcher, Tinely Park, IL. Mrs. McHargue was born in Bledsoe, Kentucky and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 11 years. Nora was married to Loyd on December 22, 1956 in Chicago, IL. She was a homemaker, a member of the Winder Noon Lions Club and a member of Hebron Baptist Church, Dacula.
