Obituary of Johnny Ray O'Dell

Johnny Ray O'Dell, age 57 of Lawrenceville, GA, died Monday, January 28, 2008 after an extended illness. A Memorial Service was held Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Trinity Christian Fellowship, Lawrenceville, GA. Pastor Bill Burnham officiated. Mr. O'Dell was taken to Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge, TN for funeral service and burial. The Family received friends on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 from 5-8 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, Buford. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to be made to The Johnny O'Dell Memorial Fund, c/o Trinity Christian Fellowship, 1985 Old Fountain Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. Mr. O'Dell is survived by his wife of 22 ½ years Jeanne O'Dell, Lawrenceville; Children, Jesse O'Dell, Jared O'Dell, James O'Dell, Jordyn O'Dell, Lawrenceville; Parents, Ray and Barbara O'Dell, Kodak, TN; Sister and Brother In-law, Patsy and Glenn Wyatt, Knoxville, TN; Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mr. O'Dell was born in Sevierville, TN and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 30 years. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force where he served in Germany, was self-employed in the trucking industry as owner of L & J Cartage Co. and a member of Trinity Christian Fellowship, Lawrenceville.
