Obituary of Sylvia Thompson Rode

Sylvia Thompson Rode, age 89 of Danielsville, Georgia, died Saturday, January 19, 2008. Funeral service was held Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Darden Shadrach officiated. Mrs. Rode was cremated following the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Children's Health Care of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. Mrs. Rode is survived by Daughters and Sons in-law, Linda and Walter Jergenson, St Paul, MN and Gail and Bob Brown, Danielsville, GA. Grand Children, Sandy and Steve Soukup, Lakeville, MN, Jody and Karyn Brown, Cumming, GA, Jamie and Gerrie Brown, Fairburn, GA, Joshua Brown, Buford, GA, Craig and Lisa Jergenson, Maple Grove, MN and Sue Jergenson, St. Paul, MN. Great Grandchildren, Dana and Jack Soukup, Lakeville, MN, Josephine Brown, Cumming, GA, Jonathan Jergenson and Ana Jergenson, Maple Grove MN. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mrs. Rode was born in Baltimore, MD and had lived in metro Atlanta the past three years. She was a retired secretary, a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine, a member of the Eastern Star and a member of Creekside Fellowship in Lawrenceville, GA.
