Obituary of Marsell Givens

Mr. Marsell Givens, age 64, of Auburn, died Tuesday June 12, 2001 following an extended illness. Funeral Service was held Thursday, June 14, at 11:00 A.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel in Buford. Rev. Eric Landress and Rev. Carl Fowler officiated. Interment followed at Ewing Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Dacula. The Family received friends on Tuesday, June 12, from 7-9 P.M. and all day on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Surviving are Wife; Dale Martin, Auburn; Daughters; Shelba Jean Hortman, Dacula, Jackie Denise Williams, Athens, Pamela Kay Vosberg, Auburn; Son; Christopher Todd Givens, Auburn; Five Grandchildren; Mother; Willie Mae Givens, Dacula; Brothers; Edward Givens and Dwight Givens of Auburn, Billy Joe Everett, Pendergrass; Sisters; Angileene Barrett, Dacula, Gelaine Lance, Lawrenceville, Haroldene Scroggs, Auburn, Kathleen Burgess, Lawrenceville. Mr. Givens was a retired brick mason and of the Baptist faith.
