Bette K. Vannerson, age 75 of Buford, GA, died Sunday, August 19, 2007 after a brief illness. Funeral service was held Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 10:00 am at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Andy Seibert officiated. Entombment followed at Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross, GA. The Family received friends on Monday, August 20, 2007 from 4 - 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 3612 Old Oakwood Road, Oakwood, GA 30566.
Mrs. Vannerson is survived by her husband of 54 years A.T. Vannerson, Jr., Buford; Daughter and Son In-law, Melinda and Joel Parmer, Buford; Son and Daughter In-law, David and Glenda Vannerson, Lawrenceville; Grandchildren, Andrew Vannerson, Kyle Vannerson, Alison Parmer; Sister, Katherine Wheeler, Okeechobee, FL; Sister and Brother In-law, Estelle and Donald Upchurch, Carrollton, GA; Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mrs. Vannerson was born in Carroll County, GA and a life long resident of the metro Atlanta area. She was retired from BellSouth and a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Oakwood, GA.
