Jean P. Benson, age 63 of Buford, GA, died Sunday, February 25, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. G. Stephen Wood will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2007 from 6 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Benson is survived by her husband, Earl Benson, Buford; Mother, Ruth Abernathy, Buford; Brothers and Sisters In-law, Douglas and Sherry Padgett, Mableton, Kenneth and Earlene Jones, Montgomery, AL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Mrs. Benson was a native of Pickens County, Georgia and a life long resident of the metro Atlanta area. She was a retired Benefit Coordinator in the Mental Health Industry and a member of First Baptist Church Buford.
