Obituary of Roy Jack Winkles

Roy Jack Winkles, Sr., age 63 of Auburn, GA, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 after an extended illness. A Memorial Service was held Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Hebron Baptist Church, Dacula. Rev. Tim Taffar officiated. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33 rd Street, New York, NY 10016 in memory of Jack Winkles. Mr. Winkles is survived by his wife, Linda M. Winkles, Bethlehem, GA; Children, Ronnie and Troy Litsinberger, TX, Roy J. and Nancy Winkles, Jr., CA, Allen and Delores Shoemaker, Woodstock, GA, Sheri and JJ Johnson, Bethlehem, GA, Steven and Kay Winkles, CA; 10 Grandchildren; Father, Joseph Winkles, Cave Springs; Half Brothers and Half Sisters, George Cudiamat, WA, Charlie Cudiamat, CA, Debbie Romero, WA, Nancy Watkins, CA. Mr. Winkles was a native of Newnan, GA and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 30 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Germany. He was an active member of Hebron Baptist Church, Dacula and was formerly employed by Ryder Truck Lines and Progress Paper Board, Winder.
