Obituary of John Kassander

John "Casey" Kassander, age 70 of Buford, GA, died Saturday, December 2, 2006. A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 7:30 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Charles Gilliland officiated. The Family received friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Kassander was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Kassander; son, Jon Kassander and uncle, Stephen Kassander. Surviving are wife, Lois Stefano Kassander, Buford, GA; children, Michele Pratt married to Robert Pratt, Johnstown, PA, Todd Kassander, Johnstown, PA, Tony Kassander married to former Theresa Bolen, Johnstown, PA, Dennis and Kathy Baus, Cumming, GA, Dana Baus, Atlanta, GA; Grandchildren, Lisa Misosky, Danielle Kassander, Courtney Kassander, Kierra Pratt, Zachary Baus, Nicholas Baus, Jolie Baus; Aunt, Matilda "Tilley" Kassander; Cousin, Stephen Kassander. Mr. Kassander was born in Manhattan, NY, raised in Johnstown, PA and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 28 years. He was retired from Abbott Enterprises as an advertising executive and of the Catholic Faith.
