Georgeanne Taggard, age 61 of Cumming, GA, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006. Memorial Service was held Friday, October 6, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church, Dacula, GA. Rev. Dave Davis officiated. The Family requested in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your local Humane Society. Mrs. Taggard is survived by her husband, Edward Taggard, Cumming, GA; Daughters and Sons In-law, Mary and Lewis Worthington, Flower Mound, TX, Carrie and Mike Magahey, Dacula, GA; Granddaughters, Madison and Lorinne Worthington, Flower Mound, TX, Shay Magahey, Dacula, GA; Grandson, Jake Magahey, Dacula, GA; Sisters and Brothers In-law, Betty and Cleve Beck, Pleasanton, CA, Carole and Henry Atwater, Rancho Santa Fe, CA; Aunt, Willie Hornsby, Alexandria, LA; Nieces, Cathy Pritchard, San Diego, CA, Karen Thomas, San Diego, CA, Cindy Stephenson, San Jose, CA; Nephews, Matt Beck, Pleasanton, CA, Scott Madsen, Pleasanton, CA; Cousins, Sara and Chuck Tospen, Alexandria, LA, Sally and James Pelton, Baton Rouge, LA; Sister In-law and Brother In-law, Sandy and John Stephenson, San Jose, CA; Dog, Spot, Cumming, GA. Mrs. Taggard was a native of New Orleans, LA and had lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 6 years. She was employed with RBM of Atlanta and of the Methodist faith. She was a member of many organizations including Baton Rouge Chapter Daughters of American Revolution, past Senior State President Louisiana Children of the American Revolution, Baton Rouge Krewe Mystique, Broadmoor United Methodist Church, Baton Rouge, and ALPHA OMICRON PI SORORITY. She was a gracious hostess and gourmet chef and a lover of the outdoors and of animals.
