Obituary of Margie R. Thomas

Margie R. Thomas, age 71 of Buford, GA, died suddenly, Monday, October 2, 2006. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Carey Hudson will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8:30 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her son, David Bell. Surviving are: Husband, Steve Thomas, Buford. Sons and Daughters In-law, Jeff and Lee-Lee Bell, Buford, Mark and Sonya Thomas, Gainesville. Daughter and Son In-law, Regina and Sgt. Alex McCullough, Colorado Springs, CO. Grandchildren, Lee and Lois Bell, Nichole Bell, Zachary Bell, Tabatha Bell, Andi Bell, Alyssa Bell, Lauren Bell, Michel Thomas, Jessica Thomas, William Pike, Joshua Power, Andrew McCullough, Sydney McCullough; Special Grandchildren Ami White and Eric Dudley. Great Grandchildren, Kelly Buttrey, Camryn Buttrey, Brant Bell, Chase Ingram and Cain Ingram. Brother and Sister In-law, Herbert and Pat Roper, Jonesboro. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mrs. Thomas was a native of Rome, GA and lived most of her life in the metro Atlanta area. She was a member of North Gwinnett Baptist Church and formerly taught Acteens and was active in the WMU at First Baptist Church, Buford.
