Joan Ann Buntyn, age 74 of Darien, GA, died Monday, March 27, 2006 after a sudden illness. Funeral Service was held Friday, March 31, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Logan Smith officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family received friends on Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Buntyn was preceded in death by her son, David Allen Buntyn. Surviving are husband, George "Buddy" Buntyn, Darien, GA; Son, Francis Buntyn, Norcross, GA; Daughters, Deborah Collinge, Jefferson, GA, Cynthia Phillips, Dacula, GA; 3 Grandchildren; Mother, Irva Short, Douglasville, GA; Sisters, Myra Clayton, Dacula, GA, Juanita Jones, Lithia Springs, GA.
Mrs. Buntyn was a native of Fulton County, GA, a member of First Baptist Church, Darien, GA and a homemaker.
