Obituary of Edith Higgins Gardner

Mrs. Edith Higgins Gardner, age 71, of Buford, died Monday, November 20, 2000 following an extended illness. Funeral service was held Wednesday, November 22 at 2:00 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. G. Stephen Wood officiated. Interment followed at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. Visitation was held Monday, November 20 from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. and Tuesday, November 21 from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Gardner was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Bobby Gardner. Surviving are: Daughters and Sons In-law; Vicki and Robert Moulder, Sherry and Gary Parker, Buford; Grandchildren; Jay and Dorothy Fox, Buford, Beckie and Todd Garrett, Alpharetta; Bobby Parker and Lucas Parker, Buford; Great Grandchildren; Joshua Garrett, Justin Garrett, and Kameron Garrett, Alpharetta; Sister; Evelyn Maddox, Buford; Sister and Brother In-law; Marie and Doug Allen, Suwanee; Mother In-law; Montine Gardner, Buford; Sisters In-law; Evelyn Higgins, Polly Moore and Julia Higgins, Buford. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Gardner was a native of Buford, a homemaker and a member of Suwanee First Baptist Church.
