Mr. Vernice Mobley, age 83, of Buford, died Tuesday, November 14, 2000, following a brief illness. Funeral service was held Thursday, November 16th at 11:00 A.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Earl Pirkle and Rev. Hoyt Wilkins officiated. Interment followed at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford. Visitation was held Wednesday, November 15th from 4:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Surviving are: Wife, Earler Mae Mobley, Buford; Brother, Lloyd Mobley, Buford; Nieces; Marie Long and Annie Ruth Ivey, Chestnut Mountain. Several Great Nieces and Great Nephews also survive. Mr. Mobley was a Native of Dalton, Georgia and lived most of his life in Gwinnett County. He was a farmer and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
