Obituary of Scott A. Bailey

Mr. Scott A. "Slim" Bailey, age 72, of Suwanee, Georgia, died Tuesday, October 17, 2000 after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Friday, October 20 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev Gerald Tanton officiated. Interment followed at Old Peachtree Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Suwanee. Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 18, from 7-9 PM and on Thursday, October 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Surviving are Sister, Dortha Allen, Suwanee; Brothers and Sisters in-laws, Doug and Marie Allen, and Kenneth and Judy Allen , Suwanee; Sisters, Annie Ruth Rainey, Suwanee and Emma Lee Bagwell, Lawrenceville; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Cathrine and Cline Nichols and Bernice and Charles King, Lawrenceville, Janice and Sam Mathis, Toccoa; Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Bailey was a lifelong resident of Gwinnett County, an avid hunter and a member of Suwanee First Baptist Church. He was retired from Ace and A Heating and Air Conditioning.
