Obituary of Loree L. Stovall

Lorraine L. "Loree" Stovall, age 39, of Buford, GA passed to Heaven Sunday, July 31, 2005 after an extended illness. Funeral Service was held Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary and St. Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church, Buford. Father Chuck Girardeau officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family received friends on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requested donations to a college education fund for the children. Please send donations to Jon Stovall, c/o Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, 3481 Hamilton Mill Road, Buford, GA 30519. Mrs. Stovall is survived by her husband, Jon Stovall, Buford; Daughters, Mary Katherine and Elizabeth Florence Stovall, Buford; Parents, Flo and Bob Hamilton, Jr., Lake Alfred, FL; Sister and Brother In-law, Deborah and Bill Bailey, Madison, AL; Brother, R.J. Hamilton, III, Ft. Pierce, FL; Father and Mother In-law, Mr. and Mrs. T.N. Stovall, Danielsville, GA; 12 Nieces and Nephews; Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Loree was a native of Miami, FL and grew up in Maitland, FL and lived in the area the past 20 years. Loree was a graduate of Young Harris College, University of Georgia and received her Masters of Education and Education Specialist from Georgia State University. She was employed with Gwinnett County School System as a Counselor at Glenn Jones Middle School and previously at Lanier Middle School in Buford. She was named as a Georgia Counselor of the year and achieved National Certification of School Counselors. Loree was a member of the Georgia School Counselor's Association, Active Parenting of teens, Peer Leader Coordinator, Drug Free Awareness Groups, dance team coach/sponsor and a certified First Responder and an active member of St. Mary and St. Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church, Buford.
