James Robert Owsley, age 57, of Hoschton, GA died Thursday, May 26, 2005 after battling bone cancer. Memorial Service was held Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 6:00 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, Buford. Rev. Douglas Conwell officiated. The family received friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to: Embracing Hospice, 3180 Presidential Drive, Suite G, Atlanta, GA 30340 in memory of Robert Owsley. Mr. Owsley is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda Owsley, Hoschton; Son, Tim Owsley, Charleston SC; Daughters, Sharon Laine, Loganville, Tamala Tidwell, Griffin; Stepson, Chris Pass, Oakwood; 6 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild; Brother, Raburn Owsley, Odessa, TX. Mr. Owsley was a native of Haleyville, Alabama and was employed by Scientific Atlanta for 28 years.
