I don't know what to say. I loved Bill. I am just shocked at his passing, and I will live with the regrets that I wasn't a better friend to him.
I lost touch for so many years and he was relentless in finding me. No one I know has more persistence than him. I have such fond memories of our youth; racquetball, harrowing rides in his Charger and the Pontiac, "Dammit Andy," playing video games while munching on several boxes of frozen fried chicken. And more recently, his visit here in 2014. I could always count on getting a goofy email or a Facebook comment, that had nothing to do with the subject of the post, and he could always give me a good chuckle. He was truly one of a kind.
He was a kind, gentle soul and he had a MAJOR impact on so many. He was the ambassador of Facebook for so many of us who went to high school with him. He touched us all, was the glue of our graduating class and we all love him and will always miss him.
My heartfelt condolences, my prayers go out to the family and friends. I pray that someday the pain of his passing is washed away by all of the good times, love and happy memories you all must have.
