William E. “Bill” Scott, Jr., age 52, of Buford, GA, died suddenly on Monday, August 14, 2017. A private interment service will be held at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. All family and friends are welcome at the Memorial Service that will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM at 12Stone Church Hamilton Mill (3858 Braselton Hwy, Buford, GA 30519). Pastor Jon Lewis will officiate. Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Alane Scott and sister in-law, Angie Rougely. He is survived by his wife, Julie Scott, Buford, GA; children, William E. “Wes” Scott, III, Camille F. Scott, and Logan R. Scott, all of Buford; parents, William E. Scott, Sr. & Jolene, Philpot, KY; brother, Chad E. Scott & wife Melissa, Philpot, KY; nephew, Trent E. Scott, Philpot, KY; mother in-law, Diane F. Fleener, Dallas, TX; brothers in-law, Kyle D. Atkins & wife Yvette, Dallas, TX and Seth A. Atkins & wife Kelli, Dallas, TX; sister in-law, Janis Haberl & husband Rudy, Sedalia, CO; several other nieces, nephews & cousins. Bill was born in Danville, KY and had lived in the metro Atlanta area for the past 27 years. He was employed in sales with Cestus and a member of 12Stone Church Hamilton Mill.
