Betty Nell Deaton Dollar, age 78 of Buford, GA died Saturday, September 2, 2017. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Frankie Southerland will officiate. The Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 5, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org/Donate. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Dollar; parents Clay and Mary Gilleland Deaton; sister and brother in-law Sherry and Van Adams; brothers in-law, Harold Dowdy and Joey Gearin; sister in-law, Helen Banks; sister in-law and brother in-law, Patsy and Gene Wiley. Betty is survived by her daughters, Cindy Maddox, Sugar Hill and Kristi Geidner, Buford; grandchildren, Alexandria Geidner and Clay Geidner and wife Taylor; sisters, Bobbie Queen and husband Wade, Sugar Hill, Pat Dowdy, Cleveland, GA, Linda House and husband Rannie, Buford, Deborah Deaton, Buford, Leisha Gearin, Sugar Hill; sister in-law, Linda Elinburg, Buford; brother in-law Horace Banks, Buford; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty was born in Gainesville, GA and was a lifelong resident of the area. She retired as a manager with Winn Dixie and was of the Baptist faith.
