Marilyn & family,
Loved your Doug. He was my go to at Grand Occasions. He was always looking out for me because I was green at that kind of business. I didn't know he was I'll. I'm terribly sorry. Marilyn it will be so sad for a while but Jesus will walk you through. I lost my husband 20 days after Mell died. You hang in there. Keep yourself busy. The Hall family was like my family. Know that I loved them.
I'm praying for you for rest, peace, comfort & healing.
I'm on bed rest now for a bad back. I so wanted to see all of you.. I'm so sorry that I am unable to be there.
Love, Jennifer (Coker) Latham.

Seems like just yesterday we met at the G Braves orientation and worked side by side at Lowes. You gave me the name eagle and you watched me fly high. It saddens me to know you are no longer here, but brother your legacy will forever be remembered. Thank you for all the talks, laughs but most of all your belief in me. To the family Marilyn you were his rock. To Troy and Trent we never met but your dad was so proud of both your accomplishments in life and man o man we had many conversations about family and values. Once again Doug I thank God for allowing you to be present in my life and I know you'll be shining down on us all saying I.m okay. May God bless the family and all those that were touched by this great man.

Troy sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He was a great guy who I remember fondly growing up. I remember him coaching us in football and always keeping a level head and making it fun. I always remember the hiking trip he took us on the Appalachian trail which I had never done before. I had seen him a few times in the years past and he was always a pleasure to talk to. He was very proud of you and would brag on you when I seen him. Thinking of you and your family during this time.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. John 14:1-4
Deepest Sympathy and our sincere Prayers to the Bereaved Family. Doug was not only an encourager but a giver and gave and encouraged many of his fellow co workers without expecting anything in return. He will be greatly missed.
