Obituary of Douglas Marchman Hall

Douglas Marchman “Doug” Hall, age 68, of Buford, GA, died Friday, February 23, 2018 after an extended illness. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Nephew Andy Hall will officiate. The Family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request, contributions to Johns Hopkins Sarcoma Program Fund, in memory of Douglas Hall. Doug is survived by his wife, Marilyn Hall, Buford; sons, Troy Hall and wife Deshja, Montclair, NJ, Trent Hall, Delray, FL; grandchildren, Mareau Hall, Thaura Hall; brother, Dan Hall and wife Janet, Buford; sister in-law, Mary Hall, Lawrenceville, GA; father in-law and mother in-law, Lyman and Maude Burrell, Dacula, GA; brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Sam Burrell, Dacula, GA, Jeff Burrell, Dacula, GA, David Burrell and wife Jing, Suwanee, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Doug was born in Barnesville, GA and was a lifelong resident of the metro Atlanta area. He was retired from Lowe’s as a Professional Customer Service Representative and was a Veteran of the United States Army.
