George Eric Taggart, age 64 of Lawrenceville, GA died Sunday, January 11, 2015 after an extended illness. Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Dacula United Methodist Church. Rev. Alex Stroud will officiate. The Family will receive Friends on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the Family request contributions be made to www.gofundme.com/coachtaggart Eric is survived by his Wife, Carol Taggart, Lawrenceville. Daughters and Sons In-law, Brooke and Jeremy Webb, Dacula, Amanda and Kevin Dotson, Lawrenceville. Grandchildren, Rylee Hagan, Grady Hagan, Ella Dotson, Jessica Webb and Riley Webb. Brother, Jimmy Taggart, Decatur. Eric was born in Charleston, SC and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 50 years. He was a retired teacher with the Gwinnett County School System.
