Dear Buzz, Im sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I didnt find out about it until it was to late to get to the funeral home. i can remember when i was a 5 year old kid and seeing and waving to her. Brenda had the Camaro i think and it was the days of the old Davis / Franklin dirt road. I lost my mother June the 15 of last year and I will forever miss her until I get to heaven and see her again. Sherry, Brenda & Buzz, I was so sorry to hear about Bernice. We didn't get to talk much lately but when we did it was like time had never passed & we just picked up. I have wonderful memories of Bernice from my years with her in the flower shop. She was a beautiful woman inside & out... but FIRM! I met her when I was 16 years old & she expected the best out of all of us kids... I can hear her now laughing at some of the dumb things we all did when we worked together. Sherry, Scott and Bernice Burton's families: Our deepest condolences in the loss of your loved one. We will be keeping you all in our prayers. It is always heartbreaking to lose one of your own. But, there is a silver lining for every dark cloud....and just think....Bernice has come face to face with the author and finisher of her faith! And how wonderful will it be for her to literally walk with Jesus during this most holy, blessed Easter week and then on, into forever, with the One who loves her with an everlasting love! When the time is appointed for each family member to eventually join her, on that final and special day, you will all be together again,. Your circle will be complete and unbroken.
