Bernice Franklin Hambrick Burton, age 83 of Flowery Branch, died Wednesday March 27, 2013 following an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth GA. The family will receive friends Friday, March 29, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to the Zion Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 3390 South Puckett Road, Buford, GA, 30519. Mrs. Burton is survived by Daughter and Son In-law, Sherry and Scott Drummond, Duluth; Daughter, Brenda Stanley, Oklahoma City, OK; Son and Daughter In-law, Buzz and Peggy Hambrick, Gainesville; Sister, Shirley Little, Rome, GA. Mrs. Burton was a native of Lawrenceville, GA, a life-long resident of the Atlanta area, a retired floral designer, a member of the Norcross Lions Club and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Buford.
