I worked with "Captain Mac" for 11 years at GCPD. He always told me that we were distant cousins on his mother's side, the Crowe's and I just took him at his word and we would laugh about it. He told me I walked like my Grandaddy "Boo" Wages. We always seemed to find something to laugh about. He called liquor "loud mouth" and would say about anyone who was drunk, "They got in that loud mouth, didn't they?!" I left to go into the ministry and he came to hear me preach one night at Hebron Baptist when I was home from seminary. He came up and hugged me around the neck after I finished preaching and told me that he was proud of me. I was so glad to see him. Great memories.
