Obituary of Emily Laverne Millwood

Emily Millwood, age 81 of Conyers, GA and formerly of Buford, GA died suddenly on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Mrs. Millwood has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ed Salter will officiate. The ashes will be interred at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive Friends Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 3-4 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church, 3390 South Puckett Road, Buford, GA 30519 Emily was preceded in death by her Daughter, Joy Millwood Marsh. She is survived by her husband of 45 years RC Millwood, Conyers. Daughter, Jill Finney, Covington. Grand Daughters, Meghan Finney and Kellan Finney, Covington. Sisters, Ann Sulteen, Vale, NC, Martha Robbins, Alamogordo, NM and Judy Clifford, Mason TX. Sister In-law, Anne Millwood, Homer. Emily was born in Columbus, GA and lived most of her life in the Atlanta area. She was a member of Covington First Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her Family and Friends.
