I had the pleasure of working with Denise in the Education Department at the Gwinnett Hospital System. She was a very caring person who had a great sense of humor and personality. I just read of her passing in the Atlanta Journal and am sorry that I did not know sooner. Rest in peace, my friend.

I had the pleasure of knowing Denise during her time as Director of Education. As a colleague in the same role at another hospital, I became well aquainted with Denise and we attended many of the same meetings and educational functions. She was always positive, cooperative, and was so fun to work with on various projects especially thru Ga. Hospital Association. I remember Denise VERY fondly and pray that your memories provide comfort in the difficult days ahead.

Denise or "Huggins" as I affecitionately call her will be greatly missed! She is one of the most amazing women I have worked with and appreciate all the support she provided me during my husband's deployments (and a few gentle "kicks" in the butt). Her friendship with Marie, is what most people spend a lifetime trying to obtain. I always admired their bond and closeness. I hope your memories of Denise are filled with laughter, love and joy.
