I remember Paul going to work with his hair all slicked back with dippity-do, getting into his gremlin, We were stationed at Ellsworth Air Force base together, Rapid City, SD.

I grew up with Paul in the 60's playing peewee baseball. We went to school together and it didn't take long to became best friends. We worked together at Drug Transport and Flordia Steel. We played no telling, hundreds of sofball games together along with our friends. He was a very charitable person as a menber of the Stone Mountain Jaycees. He work numerous events for years with friends from the Tucker community helping the less fortunate. Paul was a unique person. He was a leader at work or play. He always had a desire to excell whether it was in sports, work or just hanging around his buddies. Paul was quick with a joke or a prank to make people laugh and smile. A true friend that will be certainly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. I'll never forget that big ole grin and his laugh everytime I saw him.
My sincere thoughts and prayer go out to his family and friends.

I had met Paul a very long time ago when I was dating my soon to be husband Mike Bolen. Paul was a very fun guy to be around and we both went thru a lot of things with Paul and Phyllis at the time. We knew both of them for a few years. I was sadden to hear about Paul passing and I know he will be missed greatly. My prayers go out to the family.

Paul one of my friends man who loved sports, following and playing
had a way of making you feel that you was a lot better golfer than I
or anybody really was always talking good about your game enjoyed his laugh was one that wanted you to laugh with him even on a bad shot still laughted it off. Same in solfball when we played always made me feel I was really good. Talked good about any and everybody. I think you had friends that cared alot about you I am one of them, I always though you should have had a better hand in life you sure deserved it. miss you buddy.

Paul and I worked together for a number of years at Mizuno and became fast friends. I never will forget the first time we played golf and he picked me up in that two door caddy convertible. It was about 50 degrees out and he had the top down. My first thoughts were this guy is an American original. God broke the mold when he created Paul and we're all better for it.
Never a day went by when I didn't go back to the golf manufacturing area where he worked. He would be in the center of the action cracking everyone up and brightening your day. Never a dull moment with Paul and I'll always remember him as a good friend.
So sorry for the Etheridge family's loss and my condolences also go out to Tim Hayes. You were his friend to the end.
Rest easy buddy.
