Obituary of Rubena Maddox Hall Swinks

Rubena Maddox Hall Swinks, age 86, of Scottdale, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Rubena retired from Dekalb General Hospital in 1986 where she worked as a supervisor over the Outpatient Control Desk.
She was preceded in death by her son, George F. Hall and her mother, father, brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Alton R. and Deborah Hall; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Ken Wallace, Rubena Lee and Robert Morris, Tammy S. and Phillip Quick; daughter-in-law, Ingrid Budrekas; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Valley Brook Baptist Church in Decatur. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org/HEARTORG/, or the American Lung Association at www.lungusa.org/donate, in memory of Rubena Maddox Hall Swinks.
