Steven Clark Rainney, age 57 of Lawrenceville, GA, died Thursday, September 6, 2007 after an extended illness. Funeral Service washeld Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Phil Weaver will officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family received friends on Saturday, September 8, 2007 from 4 - 8 pm and Sunday, September 9, 2007 from 12:00 - 2:00 at the funeral home. Mr. Rainney is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Leon and Martha Rainney and Brother In-law, Guy Gibson. He is survived by his wife, Susan Rainney, Lawrenceville; Son and Daughter In-law, Robert Steven and Mikki Rainney, San Diego, CA; Daughter and Son In-law, Theresa and Geoffrey Iles, Buford; Daughter, Amanda Rainney, Parker, AZ; Grandchildren, Brooklyn Cave and Husband Gerald, Brielle Rainney, Slater Rainney, Cameron Beatson, Meadow Iles; Great Granddaughter, Raelyn Cave; Brothers and Sisters In-law, John and Karen Rainney, Phoenix, AZ, Mike and Debra Rainney, Holly, MI; Sisters and Brothers In-law, Sandra and Earl Wayne Hagle, Kansas, OH, Carol and Scott Loper, Ann Arbor, MI, Beverly and Jim Herman, Brand Blanc, MI, Debbie and Bill Blades, Lexington, KY; Father In-law and Mother In-law, Frank and Joyce Gibson, Bardston, KY; Sister In-law, Kathy Martin, Bardston, KY; Sister In-law and Brother In-law, Diane and Ronald Adams, Bardston, KY; Brother In-law and Sister In-law, Gary and Kathy Gibson, Bardston, KY. Mr. Rainney was born in Wayne County, MI and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 7 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church, and retired from General Motors, Doraville, GA as a materials stockman.
